An italic hand which in many features resembles those of Hathorne and Sewall. A In ecca1220, the signature of constable Joseph Neal appears in the same hand below the report. The document is likely to be a clerk's true copy of a lost original signed by Neal himself (cf. ecca1273 where the report has also been signed on May 10, 1692 -- this time more plausibly by Neal himself).
