Overview |
Editor |
The general appearance of the hand is non-professional and rustic. This quality is shown in his difficulties with word-division, the habit of forming each letter separately, the complete lack of abbreviations, the presence of some rather old fashioned secterary forms, and by his very infrequent use of capitals. One is tempted to suggest that the scribe was an elderly person. In RH's & MP's batch, this hand only occurs in Susannah Sheldon's depositions. |
