An idiosyncratic secretary hand found in RH's & MP's batch in two constable's reports. Both reports appear on the verso of the same document (see below), one signed as Joseph Eaton (Constable of Salisbury), the other as Joseph Lankister Sr (Constable of Amesbury). More data will be needed to determine whether the hand belongs to either of these officials. |
